Rounding off our week celebrating Britrock, we bring you a classic by one of the UK’s most powerful rock acts

Few UK artists to emerge in the 90s have achieved such enduring success, reliability, and popularity as the brilliant London quartet, Skunk Anansie.

Charlie Big Potatoe begins in a distinctly non-Britrock tone, all moody and clicking drum & base beats. It takes only seconds, though, for one of the defining riffs of Britrock’s canon to kick in. From then on it’s pure Britrock magic.
