Acoustic amplification specialists take a fresh look at the Platinum range to create the Pro EQ and Stage all-analog preamps

ishman is shipping Platinum Pro EQ and Platinum Stage acoustic preamps. Completely redesigned, these all-analog universal instrument preamps benefit from a 17 Volt, high-headroom, discrete Class-A preamp and high-speed circuitry for the highest fidelity and low distortion. Both units’ audio I/O consists of 1/4” instrument input, 1/4” Amp output and XLR Balanced D.I. output.

Classic Fishman tone centres with sweepable mid are combined with a switchable guitar/bass EQ mode, making the Platinum preamps more musical for bass instruments and more universal for recording and performing musicians. The new Platinum preamps integrate critical performance features such as adjustable volume boost.

The Platinum Pro EQ is built to be stomped on with foot switches to activate either the adjustable volume boost or high-contrast chromatic tuner. It also includes an analog soft-knee compressor, effect loop and precision sweepable notch filter.

With an included belt-clip, the Platinum Stage is suitable for mobile instrumentalists and can also be powered via 48V phantom power, offering complete control over your sound without batteries.
