Songwriting Autumn 2015

The fourth edition of our app is out now!

Issue four of our app is out there, featuring Everything Everything, Richard Thompson, Katzenjammer, Miles Hunt, Chas Hodges and more…

aving brought you such cover star delights as David Gray, Rumer and Wolf Alice, Songwriting is back with issue four of our app and this time we have an act for whom songwriting is everything. Hitting your Android, iOS, Kindle and Windows Phone – as well as the PocketMags virtual magazine reader for desktop computers – our autumn edition is headed-up by the peerless eclectics Everything Everything. That’s not all, though, folks, not even nearly.

Issue four comes with another 64 pages and includes such songwriting greats as Richard Thompson, Miles Hunt of The Wonder Stuff and Chas Hodges – that’s right, of Chas & Dave! Elsewhere we speak to speak to fjord folksters Katzenjammer and our Reverbnation winner Saniyé. We also introduce you to another three up and coming (and soon to be) stars, in anthemic alt-rockers Midnight Pilot, haunting folk songwriter Chanele McGuinness and Chinese electro-pop act Nova Heart.

We’ve also got some of your favourites from before, with our columnist Lisa Redford offering advice to help with stage fright, songwriting tips – as we run through how to flesh out lyrics and to record and mix acoustic guitars – and Grant Nicholas talking about how he wrote one of Feeder’s finest tracks. Which one? Now that would be telling… Of course it wouldn’t be Songwriting if we didn’t include reviews of both gear and new music, and you’ll find a raft of reviews here, too.

That’s an awful lot of awfully fine songwriting insight for you to feast your eyes upon, and all for a mere $2.34, or if you’re here in the UK £1.49. So what are you waiting for? Click the appropriate link below to get Songwriting on your device…
