The former Oasis guitarist and songwriter Noel Gallagher says that he is “not a fan” of Liam Gallagher’s solo work
Barely a week goes by without another chapter being added to the ongoing spat between the Gallagher brothers. This week is no exception, with Noel claiming he won’t be listening to Liam’s recent solo album.
Speaking to Q Magazine, Noel said he won’t be listening to Liam’s album, As You Were, “Because I’m not a fan. I’m not going to learn anything. He doesn’t write his own songs, so it means nothing to me.”
Adding his thoughts on his brother’s attacks on him, Noel said: “I’ll be in a boozer and someone will say, ‘fucking hell, our kid’s gone all like Donald Trump.’ But y’know, I’m trying to soar like an eagle and I’m being asked to comment on the ramblings of a common pigeon.”
As You Were was released on 6 october 2017. It made it to No 1 on the UK Albums chart and No 30 on the US Billboard 200.
