Rising indie four-piece Laurel Canyons are set to head out on tour with fellow Sheffielders The Crookes later this month
rchestral indie four-piece Laurel Canyons are to embark on a seven-date UK tour this month, playing in support of fellow Sheffield four-piece The Crookes. Starting at Oxford’s The Jericho on 23 November, the band will play sets in Liverpool, Norwich, Manchester, Leeds and Middlesborough, before rounding off the tour on 30 November at Derby’s The Victoria Inn.
Laurel Canyons will also release their debut EP Now We’re Rebuilding on 17 November, less than a week before their tour commences. Having played with artists as vaunted as Magazine and King Charles, the band are riding on a crest of expectation that’s been fuelled further still by acclaim from Richard Hawley and Steve Lamacq, and contributing recording sessions for BBC Introducing.
