Those unable to get a ticket in the first raft of sales for Glastonbury will have another opportunity next week

With round one of the annual button bashing, ecstasy and frustration of the Glastonbury ticket buying extravaganza having been and gone last October, fans who were left without a ticket for this year’s festival will have another chance to secure their entry next week.

Glastonbury festival confirmed today (8 April) that tickets will go on resale on Thursday 14 April and Sunday 17 April. In an announcement on their Facebook page the festival advise:

“Following the closure of the seven-day ticket balance payment window for those who paid a deposit for tickets in the autumn, we’re pleased to announce that a limited number of tickets for which the balance has not been settled will go into our ticket resale, which will be split over two separate days.”

Continuing: “As in October, we will be giving the first opportunity to book tickets to those who choose to travel to the Festival by coach. The resale for Ticket + Coach packages will take place at 6pm on Thursday, 14th April. That will be followed by a resale of General Admission Tickets, at 9am on Sunday, 17th April.”

Anyone you wants to buy a ticket will need to have registered in advance. Details on tickets and registration can be found on the Glastonbury festival website.

Last month Adele was confirmed as the third and final headline act of Glastonbury festival, joining Muse and Coldplay. Muse are the Friday headline act, with Adele taking to the stage on Saturday and Coldplay closing the festival on Sunday.
