Our latest Tuesday gift to you comes courtesy of a songwriter who specialises in a style of jangle-pop that suggests a well-spent youth, listening to the finest jangle-pop he could lay his hands on.
The track is by Andy Cook and of the song Cook says: “Swirl is an exploration of life in our hyper-digital age, being stuck trying to give other people everything they want while also trying figure out who we really are in the first place. Sure it sounds bleak, but there’s a hint of optimism in there too.”
