In our second (aren’t you folks lucky!) exclusive this week, we bring you a track by a gifted Irish songwriter

Graham Norton, Jo Whiley, Jonathan Ross, Ken Bruce and Cerys Matthews. To most of us they’re just celebrity names. But to the provider of today’s exclusive track, they are celebrity fans who’ve already been raving about the soulful Irish songwriter, Miles Graham.

The song that Graham has gifted you today is, Let It Shine (Live at Orphan Studios). Of the track, he says: “Let It Shine‘s story is a gathering of life experiences, in a personal and an observational sense in the narrative.The line, “she works in the early mornings, I work all the hours at night,” seems to resonate with a lot of people. It doesn’t forget the struggle, while tipping at the positive every chorus to achieve balance in life and hope, which comes from the innocence of childhood.”

He counts Otis Redding, Paul Weller and James Morrison among his influences. He’s certainly taken excellent notes from those songwriters, but we also think that you’ll find hints of Paolo Nutini and Jack Savoretti in Let It Shine.
