What? Apparently the Hop Farm Music Festival emerged in 2008 after a survey of paying festival-goers showed they felt lowest on the pecking order. So the organisers went back to basics and let it be about the punter and the music. There’s no sponsorship or branding, no VIP’S, children aged 13 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult, and it’s all about live folk and independent music, activities and entertainment.
