Award winning app receives more funding in its bid to develop the next generation music-creation workflow for songwriters and producers

Released in April, Endlesss is an iOS app that allows users to work together in the creation of new music. The idea is to collaborate by sharing ‘Rifffs’, short pieces of music that take minimal time to create, which songwriters can share and remix in virtual jam sessions.

In June, Endlesss were joint winners or the MIDEMlab startup award in Cannes, which has been previously won by SoundCloud and Songkick. The app has successfully attracted investment from Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and tech developer Imogen Heap and Will Mills.

Endlesss’ creator, and product owner of Native Instruments, Tim Exile has now secured further backing from Tim Clark (co-founder, IE:Music), Mathew Daniel (VP International, NetEase Cloud Music), Dhiraj Mukherjee (co-founder, Shazam), Richard Jones (manager, Pixies) and Paul Kempe (Tileyard).

The next stage of the project is, which is centred on the sharing of ideas from a mobile device and home or professional recording studios. Other features coming in the near future will include a chat-style interface, extra soundpacks, analogue modelling synthesis and a VST plugin for use in DAWs.
