Are you feeling left out when bands skip your town during their tour? Paul Weller says, ‘no more.

Iconic songwriter Paul Weller announces he will embark on a 2015 tour of the UK’s ‘often missed’ towns and cities

o you live in Swindon, Stoke, Blackburn, Carlisle, or York and feel just a bit put out that you’re missed off of artists touring schedules? Well you need no longer feel so, if you’re a Paul Weller fan. Next March the Modfather will be setting off on a 14 date tour that takes in some of the towns and cities that are forgotten when bands are setting out their tour diary.

Starting in Plymouth’s Pavilions on March 5, Weller will make his way through Swindon, Portsmouth, Watford, Warwick, Stoke, Cambridge, Southend, Blackburn, Scunthorpe, Halifax, York and Carlisle, before finishing off with a March 22 performance at Edinburgh’s Playhouse.

In other news that will excite Weller fans, the songwriter recently announced that he is hoping to record music with the former guitarist of The Smiths, Johnny Marr, as well as with Boy George.
