HeadRush Pedalboard: guitarist-oriented user interface, enabling users to touch, swipe, and drag-and-drop to create and edit rigs

New brand releases guitar amp and FX modelling processor with interactive seven-inch touch display, effects presets, looper and quad-core DSP

Guitar product specialist, HeadRush has announced their first product: the HeadRush Pedalboard. Featuring a quad-core processor and powered by its exclusive Eleven HD Expanded DSP software, the HeadRush Pedalboard offers responsive amplifier, cabinet, microphone and FX modelling in a guitar FX floorboard.

Created by the original team behind Avid’s Eleven DSP, the HeadRush Pedalboard delivers a diverse collection of classic vintage and modern amp and FX models, including exclusive original boutique effects, as well as the ability to load your own custom impulse response (IR) files. The HeadRush Pedalboard also features gapless preset switching, a looper with over 20 minutes of record time and the ability to peel off loop layers in the reverse order they were added.

The HeadRush Pedalboard is housed in a steel chassis and it features twelve footswitches with their own OLED displays. The heart of the HeadRush Pedalboard is the seven-inch touch display and its guitarist-oriented user interface, enabling users to touch, swipe, and drag-and-drop to create and edit rigs. The display also gives feedback when performing live and when making slight tone adjustments using the ‘Hands-Free Mode’.

“The HeadRush Pedalboard is a dream come true for guitarists,” exclaims product manager Walter Skorupski. “Using the touch screen is a truly organic experience that’s so familiar and natural to guitarists; making it easy to just jump right in and create amazing sounding rigs in seconds. This is a real game changer, and we can’t wait to hear the tones that guitarists are going to create!”

Headrush will be available the first quarter of 2017 at a suggested retail price of £899.99. For more info, visit headrushelectronics.com
