Production accessories manufacturer releases the Portable Vocal Booth Pro 2 Edition for singers and songwriters to record vocals at home

anchester-based Editors Keys expand their home recording equipment range, launching the Portable Vocal Booth Pro 2, a vocalist’s recording tool that promises to be the answer to all poor home recording acoustic conditions, guaranteeing perfect home recordings every time. In fact, the booth comes with a lifetime warranty so, if the product doesn’t greatly improve your recording quality, Editors Keys offer a full money back promise.

The vocal booth comes with a heavy-duty floor stand, and desk stand adapters which make it possible to remove the booth and place onto any desk for recording when seated. The booth creates an acoustic shield around the vocalist’s microphone, preventing both external sound sources (such as air conditioning, traffic or computer noise) entering the microphone, as well as preventing the performed vocals bouncing off the walls, back into the microphone. This dramatically reduces audio interference during a flawless take and aims to improve the detail and sonic character of home vocal recordings. It also claims to provide a crisp vocal sound, which is often hard to achieve when recording in certain studio setups.

“We talked to over 3000 recording artists and asked them what common problems they faced. Getting good quality vocals was the biggest problem, and was one of the main reasons otherwise great tracks, only sounded good at best.” said Mark Brown, Editors Keys’ company director.

The Vocal Booth Pro 2 is available now for £169.99. For more information visit www.editorskeys.com
